Welcome to Mary Anne Radmacher's blog.

One way to get to know a person you've just met is to ask them to tell you about their favorite friends. It's said that a person essentially becomes an aggregate of the five people with whom they spend the most time.

There's another telling question to ask a stranger. It's all about a book.

1) Is there one book that you have re-read and will read again (and again)?
2) What is the most recent book that you've read and what stands out to you most?
3) What is the title of a book you recommend most often to friends?
4) What was the last book you read that made you so sad when it came to the end? (Because you wanted to keep on reading, not because the ending was sad!).

If the person you are just getting to know has never re-read a book, can't remember what stood out from the last book they read, doesn't recommend books to friends and has never felt sad to stop reading an excellent book...

I suggest that you stop conversing with them. And, perhaps, run. Kidding (not kidding). Perhaps you might consider striking up a conversation with someone else that you might want to get to know. AND start THAT conversation off by recommending a book you've recently read...

Womanhood Week end 2012 Registration Special

I'm delighted to serve as faculty for this awesome event. From Dr. Deanna Davis, the founder of Womanhood Week End:

Here’s an IMPORTANT TIME-SENSITIVE Womanhood message!

We hope that you've had a smooth "re-entry" into life after Womanhood Weekend 2011. We trust that you’re still basking in the glow and hope that you're ready for more in the coming year! Because you asked for "short sound bite" emails (and because we actually listen to you J), please read below...AND RESPOND BY SUNDAY, JUNE 5TH.

The registration page for Womanhood 2012 / Success Summit 2011 is live and ready for you to refer your friends, family, colleagues and random passers-by to register using your alumni discount! As you may recall, if you registered for next year's event at the end of this year's event, you can extend your alumni discount (up to 40% off!) to anyone you refer to the event. BUT THEY MUST REGISTER BY THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 5TH.

It's as easy as 1,2,3:
1. Alert everyone you know that this special is the deepest discount that will be offered for Womanhood, and that it's only valid through Sunday, June 5th.
2. Invite them to learn more on the Womanhood web page, and then to register online on that page or via phone at 509.532.1600. No coupon is needed—prices posted reflect the alumni discount and this page will not be promoted to anyone but you until after June 5th.
3. We will refund YOU 10% of their registration fees to use as you wish (yep, toward hotel rooms, spa services, or travel costs…and the list goes on!).

Thanks in advance for sharing this opportunity with everyone who might benefit from Womanhood, because we believe that ALL women deserve the opportunity to center...connect...and create their ideal lives. Thanks for sharing our vision and for helping spread the word. As always, please feel free to contact us with questions.

More soon...let the alumni registration discount commence!
